Bryan W Pulver Professional Resume

Originally from New York, Bryan Pulver graduated from Texas State University - San Marcos in 2010, with a Bachelor's Degree in Music. While at Texas State University, he studied under Dr. Joey Martin and Dr. Lynn Brinckmeyer, sang in the University Chorale and VocaLibre, directed the Heart of Texas Chorus and The Marcsmen Chorus, and enjoyed a variety of performances and roles within the Barbershop Harmony Society. In 2005, he joined the a cappella quartet, Sterling, who went on to compete at the international level, headline the Vaasa Choral Festival in Vaasa, Finland, and release an album called "Sunday Morning." As a member of the Barbershop Harmony Society, Bryan published many compositions and served on the Executive Board of the Southwestern District of the BHS as the Youth in Harmony VP/Coordinator.

After college, Bryan moved to the Austin area where he spent the next 13 years as a high school and middle school choral educator in Leander ISD, Killeen ISD and Georgetown ISD. He is currently teaching at Benold Middle School in Georgetown where he has served as head choir director for 10 years. He has served Region 26 as Middle School Vocal Coordinator, hosted the Region 26 Middle School Clinic and Concert for 10 years and has created the Tenor-Bass learning tracks for Middle School Region Auditions every year. Bryan holds membership with the Texas Music Educator's Association and Texas Choral Director's Association and enjoys performing on the square in beautiful downtown Georgetown, TX.
